The customer was having difficulty getting a price from a glazing contractor that could handle a project of this size. We were able to provide a price, creating an opportunity for us to work on this unique project and fulfill the client’s vision.

Due to the nature of the contract negotiations on this project, we were able to assist in the design by choosing the best products to meet the needs of the building. The glazing used on the exterior had a Solargray tint on the Exterior Lite and a Low-E Coating (Solarban 60) on the third surface for a high performing IGU. Then we were able to use the Reliance TC –IG System on the third-floor ribbon curtain wall to lower the U-Factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient.

Both the Client and the Architect made note of how pleased they were with the finished project. We have also received a number of other compliments from people who are familiar with the building and are hoping to submit it for awards in the upcoming year.

The customer was very excited about the finished product and loved how the glass fits into his futurist vision for the building. When he reached out to me for some glass shelves after the completion of the project his opening line was, “Hey Taylor, we’ve moved in and are very much enjoying our new space. The glass is awesome.”
